Through the participation of all employees in design, application, delivery, manufacturing, and service activities, we will continuously promote the development of product research and technology development maps, grasp the industry's research and development layout and progress, combine with the company's overall development and intellectual property strategy, ensure intellectual property quality, implement intellectual property protection and layout, establish a more stable competitive advantage for enterprise operation.

 

Intellectual Property Management Plan

In order to protect and maintain the valuable intellectual property rights that have been obtained with great effort, and to strengthen our industry leadership position, our company has formulated an intellectual property policy that combines our business operation goals and development strategies: through the participation of all employees, we will continuously promote intellectual property protection work in various activities such as design, application, delivery, manufacturing, and service; establish product research and technology development maps, and grasp the industry's research and development layout and progress; combine with the company's overall development and intellectual property strategy to ensure high-quality intellectual property, implement intellectual property protection, and establish a more stable competitive advantage for enterprise operation, achieving the goal of sustainable operation.

 

Patent Management
Our company develops new products and technologies using the "Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) Project" approach, which involves conducting patent searches and creating patent maps at the outset of development to avoid infringing on others' patents and establish our own defensive and offensive patent portfolio.
We have established a patent application review system, in which the TXC Technical Committee (TTC) reviews patent concepts for suitability for patent application, patent value, and application regions. Our management regulations specify that employees who submit patent applications will be awarded bonuses, and their patent holdings will also be included in the credit points required for promotion.
We regularly conduct searches of patents held by our competitors, analyze them, and track the development of important patents to maintain our competitive edge.
Confidential Document Management
All confidential documents, regardless of their format (electronic or paper files), are stored in a designated secure area. The borrowing, transmission, downgrading, and destruction of confidential documents are subject to clear audit mechanisms and established processing procedures. 

Each employee is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their personal business dealings.

Upon hiring new employees, an Employment Contract must be signed, which clearly outlines:

• Intellectual Property (IP) Ownership

• Confidentiality Requirements

• Disclosure of Pre-Existing Creative Works : New employees must disclose any existing inventions, patents, copyrights, and specialized technical knowledge they have created, to prevent potential infringement of third-party intellectual property rights.

When an employee involved in important intellectual property matters leaves the company, the HR department will conduct an exit interview to remind them of relevant IP regulations and confidentiality obligations.

A separation agreement may be required, which will specify:

1. Rights Assignment for Specific IP

2. Specific Confidentiality Requirements 

3. Non-Compete Provisions

Copyright Management
The company's external paper submissions must undergo a review for suitability by the TXC Technical Committee (TTC) before publication. Those that pass the review and are published externally will receive a monetary reward as an incentive, and simultaneously be counted towards the required credits for career advancement in the engineering profession .
